Description
Interest for a normal user is not obvious but it seems that some basic benchmarks could be useful, at least for developer to measure impact of a new or modified feature. Gl-Teapot is definitely not the good tool for that. If you can't toggle v-sync, it is even useless.
Example of use case https://discuss.haiku-os.org/t/test-builds-new-user-mutex-code/13575

If someone were able to get the phoronix test suite running under Haiku via HaikuPorts that would be a good way to have benchmarks while developing\testing.

Well, that's not a problem for this bug tracker, anyway :)

Windows or Linux don't ship with built-in benchmarks, do they? Maybe some basic performance metrics somewhere, but not really a "benchmark". I don't think we need to, either. We can add more to HaikuPorts if necessary.
