Description
No sound is available via line-out, only via built-in speaker.
PC: Fujitsu Q920, Intel Q87 chipset with RealTek ALC671. Tried on 2 units with different CPU/memory, same result. Haiku was running on bare metal, not virtualised. The Multimediacontroller gets recognised and identified as an Intel HD audio controller (see screenshots).
In Media prefs, there's no Line out entry available (screenshot). The leftmost Speaker-entry allows changing the volume of the internal speaker, but the Mute function does nothing. Instead, the Mute-button on the right of it (the one without slider) mutes this speaker.
Because I seem to remember this having worked a certain time ago, I tried booting an older version (Beta 3) but this gave the same result.
