Description
I've mostly used Haiku in a virtual machine for a long time. However, I wanted to try to get it working on real hardware for once, maybe even consider switching to it in the future.
Everything works, except for one major blocker—there isn't any Wi-Fi firmware for the network adapter in my device.
My specific adapter is the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377, and after some research, it seems that other Qualcomm chips don't work either.
The most information I've found about this is this post and this post on the FreeBSD forums. I've also found this, which might be related. I also found somebody else on Haiku with the same issue with the same adapter.
I've also found this repository.

There is already a ticket for this at #17071. Neither FreeBSD nor OpenBSD has a working driver for this hardware (there is a work-in-progress one for FreeBSD, but based on the README and issues list, it's clearly not ready for general use.) You will have to use some other WiFi device instead.
