Media Player (and QMPlay2 also) cause DOSBox-X, and not DOSBox, to stop

Description

When I'm playing a video, DOSBox-X quickly, possibly immediately, stops. Not being a programmer, I don't know where the problem lies.

This sounds more like a problem with DOSBox-X?

But Web (epiphany) doesn't kill DOSBox-X?

Did you check threads priority in process controller? Maybe apps accessing media kit directly get a higher priority? Gtk apps wouldn't be affected because it is indirect??? In this case, raising priority of DOSBox-X may help.

DOSBox-X appears dead, except for the menus.
