intel_extreme driver hangs on Haiku boot with Intel UHD Graphics 630 in i7 8700k

Description
Boot of Haiku (either from installation media or already installed) hangs during initialisation of intel_extreme driver.
Hardware is Intel UHD Graphics 630 in an Intel Core i7 8700k.
Boot with this package disabled, or fail save VESA driver works (using an NVidia GTX 1070 GFX card).
