Component: - General Version: R1/beta4

Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: x86-64

Description

ThinkPad P1 Gen 3 model 20TJS07200

Boots from USB-A ports (right side of laptop), fails to boot from USB-C ports (left side of laptop)

Kernel Panic: “Did not find any boot partition” (sysog shows the partition was enumerated at some point)

~> uname -a Haiku shredder 1 hrev56578+59 Dec 17 2022 07:02: x86_64 x86_64 Haiku

See discussion https://discuss.haiku-os.org/t/did-not-find-any-boot-partitions/14226/1

Attaching "syslog_see_notes.zip" This is a syslog from booting the ISO flash drive and then plugging in an external SSD to the USB-C port that will not work for booting, and mounting the Haiku parttion on that device.

Please always attach files directly (without zipping them) so that they can be viewed in Trac without downloading them first.

It might worth trying a nightly.
