#18688 new bug

FAT32: random disk full and unmount condition

Reported by: cocobean Owned by: nobody
Priority: normal Milestone: Unscheduled
Component: File Systems/FAT Version: R1/beta4
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:
Platform: All

Description (last modified by cocobean)

Randomly when doing a copy/write to a USB flash drive, got a "disk full" message on a nearly empty (i.e. >=98% empty) FAT32-formatted 1TB USB flash drive which then was unmounted by the OS. Rebooting the OS solved the issue. The 'Get Info' for USB flash drive shows the correct information on drive capacity and disk avail/free space.
