Running the attached color.py
script (original from here), on Haiku, Linux, and on Windows Terminal, shows that Haiku seems to not be using the proper "bright" colors for some of the "background color" escape codes at least.
(Just in case, I've replicated the "Campbell" color theme from WT on Haiku, attempting to make comparisons easier).
Linux ("Tango" color scheme, because customizing color was too much of a pain):

Same script might also indicate some differences in bold/dim usage, but without perfectly matching colors and fonts... hard to tell for sure.
