- cannot be used. The search terms are not explicitly processed, they are fed into the database (after escaping) with an 'AND' type structure. This could be mentioned on the TracSearch page, but that would be a request that IMO would go upstream.

This is a Trac issue, and not specific to Haiku's version, you'll see this same help page on the HaikuPorts trac as well as other sites that use trac. So this ticket should be closed and perhaps a ticket opened on the main trac site: http://trac.edgewall.org/
