Crash while booting from USB thumb — at Version 2

Reported by: X-Grimator Owned by: axeld

Component: Drivers/Graphics/radeon_hd Version: R1/beta4

Description (last modified by diver)

I tried to boot Haiku beta4 from an USB that was written with Balena Etcher. beta3 was booting fine, and I would like to test beta4 to help you to improve the operating system.

But the system freezes and I don't understand why. I could only take a photo of my screen.

  1. insert USB
  2. switch on the PC
  3. initial screen (loading Haiku)
  4. a lot of lines in console

This is an app_server crash. Please try booting with "fail-safe video mode" enabled in the bootloader options.
