Description
The 1st beta5 test image shows a very low download rate. around 20 KiB/s compared to my usual 700 KiB/s on hrev57849, 64bit.
I tested with SoftwareUpdater (which crashed when hitting "Quit" after aborting) and Web+.
Attached is the syslog and a listdev.

Can you update to the latest master and see if the same problem happens there as well?
This is probably related to the TCP changes; a packet capture may be necessary.

False alarm. Or Heisenbug...
After checking the latest nightly (I updated a beta4 install) - the speed was good there - I reinstalled the beta5 test image. Now downloads are fast again...
However, anything dowloading from the Haiku repository is painfully slow, again those 20 KiB/s. Everything from HaikuPorts repo is filling my very modest 600-700 KiB/s pipe.Somethings not right there.
In any case, I think this one can be closed...
