Description
I’m using Haiku on my HP Elitebook 6930P and my built in keyboard, mouse, and trackpad just stopped working out of the blue. When I move the trackpoint, the cursor jumps to the bottom right corner of the screen and randomly spams the mouse buttons which causes the context menu to appear. I checked my syslog and I see “KERN: ps2: strange mouse data, x/y overflow, trying resync KERN: ps2: bad mouse data, trying resync” I had experienced a kernel panic while updating packages and worked fine, but then I finished installing the packages and restarted the computer and it went back to how it was. The laptop is unusable without a USB keyboard and mouse.

It was working for the past few days but it has started happening again. The issue usually clears after a few restarts.
Please attach a full syslog.
