#19246 closed bug (fixed)

Canna IME buttons show garbled icons

Description

I installed the Canna Japanese IME from HaikuDepot onto hrev58314. Although the IME functionality appears to work normally, the control window buttons show garbage instead of whatever icons they're supposed to show.

Canna is a third-party application, and issues should be reported here: https://github.com/mt819/CannaIM

However, I think for Japanese IME, most users are now using "mozc".

It can be Haiku side bitmap drawing regresstion. CannaIM is BeOS originated application and it is expected to work.

Interesting. So how did that change fix #12931 if BeOS really didn't behave this way?

Tried CannaIM with the commit reverted, it works as expected. Tried Spirograph on x86_gcc2 with the commit reverted, it seems I can't reproduce.

So I would revert https://cgit.haiku-os.org/haiku/commit/?id=6211ae257544d7a1453bc34297c8eac3e2b0435d on master, reopen #12931, let jscipione check whether a fix is still needed.
