Description
I listed this ticket as a ipro100 driver issue as that is what is being reported in the network settings. The Linux driver for this ethernet controller is e100.
When I connect the ethernet cable to the laptop, it is able to detect it and sets an ip alongside the mac address and link speed.
The problem happens when I try to ping 1.1.1.1 in the terminal which results in no response from the server. Weirdest thing is that the network settings show that 1.45KiB was sent and 974B were received.
I've already tested the controller on different Linux distros (such as Debian) and it works completely fine.

I don't see any errors related to ipro100 in the log.
Please test with a recent nightly build, and check the stats in "ifconfig" to see if there are any errors (R1/beta5 won't report the error counts properly.)
