Description
My WiFi card on my ThinkPad X260 doesn't work on R1/beta5 (Intel Wireless 8260). It's detected, but won't show any WiFi networks.

The script is only for very old hardware that does not have bundled firmware. The firmware for this device is bundled with the default install; if it hadn't been found there would be a different error. This "failed to load" means it failed to load the firmware onto the device itself.
There's a variety of such hardware where it happens, unfortunately all my devices do not have the problem, and I've never been able to get a clear idea of the cause (and nor has anyone else so far) so the problem remains.
Please attach a syslog.
