Description
This is with the 2025-03 PR.
If you click on an item in the packages list, it takes about 0.5s from mouse down until the item gets selected and the syncing with HDS begins.

I seem to have been a bit quick with this ticket...
It turns out that current master and even Beta5 show the same issue! I haven't actually realized this, because I normally know what I'm looking for, use the search and click the item I want while the syncing to HDS is still running.
Because the thing is: while the app is still fetching stuff from HDS, there's NO delay! Weird!
So, the ticket still stands, but it's not limited to the refactor.

Thanks Humdinger -- will try to come back to this one after the refactor has settled.
Can I confirm that from your testing that this issue also exists on the
master(main) build of HaikuDepot at this point in time so does not represent a regression in the 2025-03 refactor PR?
