Yes, Haiku is not meant yet to have a stable ABI. :-)

Where are the sources? Vision isn't on the default image but you can add as a third party app which is downloaded from Yellowbites via UserBuildConfig, so the binary there should be updated...

So the current version of Vision that Haiku supplies as a 3rd party application via the UserBuildScript (Vision-0.9.7-H-30032008) doesn't work with the current version of Haiku.

Karl, Vision is a 3rd party application, provided by Rene Gollent, not YellowBites. The download location is in build/jam/OptionalPackages. I have given you the reasons for me marking the bug is invalid, since it is a problem of the optional package, I am sure that Rene will fix it pretty soon. The changes to BView are correct.

Sorry, I just noticed the download location as yellowbites.com.
Anyways, I'm not arguing that the bug is invalid, just trying to say that the current version of Vision provided as a binary via the userbuildscript is incompatible because of these changes :)
Is this version of Vision was builded for Haiku ? if yes, rebuild vision and it will work again as i remember R5 does not have BView::Alignment(), that's why i posted patch to change it to BView::LayoutAlignment()
