Description
I am running Haiku with the VESA driver and I noticed that some windows fail to update in a timely fashion form time to time. One glaring example is the mail_daemon status window. When downloading emails, I see that emails are arriving but, sometime even for 2 or 3 seconds, the Window does not update and suddenly catches up. I know for a fact that it is receiving the update requests so I wonder if this is not related to double buffering?
Another example is DriveSetup. If you expand or collapse one of the disks you will notice that it does not react immediately but, instead, sits there until some time passes or you click the window. At which point it does update.
This has been fixed (or at least worked around) by Rene. It was not related to the vesa driver, BTW.
