The "Fade now when mouse is here" option in the screensaver preflet does not work, moving the mouse to the selected place does not start the screen saver.

It works if I keep the mouse pointer in the corner for a while. Perhaps worth documenting, that you have to keep the mouse in one place, so others won't get confused as well, I rhink.

How did you think it would work?

Immiediately after moving the mouse to the corner - that's how it worked in Norton Commander :-) But that's good that it waits a while, just less intuitive.

Norton Commander? Wow, there's an app I haven't used in something like a decade and a half :) In any case, the way Haiku's works is relatively similar to that of After Dark and a few other screensaver systems that support hot corners, it's relatively "normal" in that respect.

If it wouldn't wait, that feature can be annoying very soon, though, when you accidently hit the corner during normal operation.
What are you doing exactly? I just tried and it works on all four corners for me, unless I have the fade and don't fade corners set the same (which the pref should in fact guard against but currently does not)
