I see in the menu it have hotkey (Alt+Z), I tested with this, select 1 and more files, and i pressed Alt+Z, but nothing happend (seems so), but no! Alt+Z is the Undo command! I've noticed this as well, though running the add-on and then dropping files on it still works. It seems that this was recently introduced, as the image I have here at work at hrev28350 doesn't have this problem. I thought that the key combination usually involved an additional modifier for add-ons, but this doesn't seem to be the case currently.

Some more info: gcc2 hrev29401

Manually start Zip-O-Matic, eg double-clicking the icon in /boot/beos/system/add-ons/Tracker Close it. From now on Opt+Alt+Z works as expected.

In Haiku R1/alpha1 (Revision 32975) you still need to first run Zip-O-Matic standalone.

The revision you mention is not R1/alpha1. The only revision being R1/alpha1 is hrev33309 of the r1alpha1 branch. Indeed this is not the same problem as the original one. The reason for this is that the Tracker add-on dir is not mimeset. Indeed this shouldn't be the case for the alpha release, as it was added to the bootscript.

Replying to mmlr:

The only revision being R1/alpha1 is hrev33309.

Correction. It's hrev33109 of course.
