Description
If you create a new account in MDR, and point the on-disk storage destination somewhere other than /boot/home/mail/in, it would be nice if MDR was smart enough to catch that and create an additional menu link pointing to the requisite location. This would be especially handy when tracking multiple email accounts in different locations.

Same here. Maybe one can use some predefined queries plus default status besides "New", "Read", "Sent", and "Pending". For example, I also use "Answer" (for mails I still need to answer), and "Look" (for mails I want to have another look at one day, but don't need to answer them).

I, at least, wouldn't like that. Inboxes tend to swell over time. I (almost) never open an inbox folder as watching how the folder fills up for several seconds and then sitting there with 10.000 mails isn't helping... :)
Instead I use queries to find new mail, mail with the custom status "4later", and "Last 2 weeks" (as Query template). Plus a folder with queries for certain mailing list mails of the last week.
IMO, no need for the inbox folder of every account directly accessible from the mail_daemon symbol in the deskbar.
