Description
To test build Haiku with the Python OptionalPackage enabled, and then run /boot/common/lib/python2.6/test>python test_socket.py Test output is attached.

Does this still happen 4 years later? what version of python ships with the releases?

Yes this still fails with 45 errors with a HaikuPM build from August 12, 2013.

Haiku was migrated to Python 3.x as default for Haiku R1B4 (hrev56578_87). There are no reported issues with Python 3.x related to this ticket. Can we review this ticket for closure?

Yes, any further Python issues should be at HaikuPorts. Skimming the error log, I don't see any obvious signs of a bug in Haiku.
