We could provide a menu item, enabled for inactive (and non-extended) primary partition.
So, everything would be self-contained in the Intel-partition-map.

Can this be closed? DriveSetup now has a checkbox option under Partition > Change parameters... > [ ] Active partition

A problem I see with this would be, would you get the partitions information or the file systems information if the selected partition had a file system. Obvious for setting active partition bit you would want the partition, but I could see wanting to be able to set properties of the file system as well. Maybe a dialog with one on top of the other? I am curious as to how other people think about how this should be solved.
