Description
This message appears when i try to lanch some apps. It always happens for me on VLC. I tried to launch vlc from my R5 partition and from haiku one: same effect.

How did you copy those apps to the Haiku partition?
Using latest tracker.newfs (if that matter)
Hmm, just checked: mounted R5 partition and found out that vlc doesn't have permission bit there too.

Okay, then I'm closing this bug :-) I would consider R5 ignoring that bit to be a bug that we don't want to imitate.

Have you checked the permission bits and user/group rights? And if not, could you please do so? A "ls -l" output would be helpful, a Tracker screenshot with the permissions open would do fine as well. If it turns out you didn't have the permission then this message is probably okay :-)
