Description
Description: After installing from the ISO to a new VMWare image, the network card is not recognized by Haiku.
If I use the VMWare image from the website, it will see the network card without issue.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install to new VMWare image using ISO
- Reboot Haiku after install
- Look at network prefs
- Notice that there are no network cards listed

That sort of worked. The VMX file was completely different than the one in the VMWare image.
I am using VMWare Fusion 2.05 (Mac OSX).
What I did is replace the VMX file with the one from the VMWare image and changed the reference to the Boot image and the Floppy Image. After that, I was able to boot into Haiku and it properly recognized the Ethernet Card.

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
You probably need to change the ethernet emulation to e1000 (intel pro/1000) in your .vmx file.
We provide a .vmx file with this already done, open in your favorite text editor to see how :)
