Description

For official non-release builds, such as @nightly-*, would it be worthwhile to replace the current boot disk icon with one that visually indicates the build as non-stable?

Attached is an icon in HVIF & PNG for viewing.

Funny! It's possible to hack this into Tracker.

Component: - GeneralBuild System
Owner: changed from nobody to bonefish

It could even be done in the build system - the rdef files already support preprocessor commands.

Is it intented to set the boot disk icon of the alpha releases to the leaf-icon, or should they also have the ladybug-icon set?

comment:6 by stippi, 15 years ago

Official releases like the Alpha2 release are supposed to feature the leaf icon. Only nightlies, which can potentially be very unreliable featue the ladybug overlay.
