    2929Also noted that several fixes to e.g. the VM system have been done since 41843, I'm eager to upgrade to them... (will keep watching haiku-files...)

     31P.S. This Haiku partition (and the spare one) were initialized before installing Haiku.. I did play with older builds of Haiku (396xx) but these were on a different hard-drive, not this one. This one is fresh 41843 and started misbehaving very quickly.. So confirming my theory about shutdown/sync is prioritary I guess.
