Icons drop shadows are not visible anymore. Wouldn't be an issue if BeOS/Haiku didn't have a long tradition for consistent perspective icons set with shadows.

Those look like the ones we use now, no? Except the colors seem to be reduced. Can you please explain more what this is about?

Yes, that is the same icons, only without backgrounds. But, any way I want to make a one another, and is good to have settings to change boot splash icons and logo.
