Description
As an academic exercise (except I'm already 59 years old and never studied after the sixth-form college) I tried to port the Speech Recognition Toolkit by Carnegie Mellon University to Haiku.
http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/
I only dropped the source code of sphinbase-0.6.x, pocketsphinx-0.6.x and sphinx3-0.8, I think it was, to Haiku svn tree and started to hack.
There are still much that are not really needed, and some source code is broken. But I think, that I can send this here after about one week's hacking. At least I'm able to build libraries and test software mostly works.

Two other patches are too large to send via this system. So here are addresses to them:

This kind of thing is more appropriate for haiku-ports (http://ports.haiku-files.org)
