Double clicking on a tab already minimizes wondows. Are you referring to another method? If so, on what do you wish to double-click?
I suspect he's implying that it doesn't work when ctrl+cmd are being held down (as is the case when you're using that key combo to click anywhere in a window to be able to move it).
