Description

  1. select the french keymap
  2. go into the "sample and clipboard" text area
  3. pressing <OPTION> <Acute> (acute is just under the <escape> key) opens a debug alert panel.

I think it's an input server bug because the same issue append with German keymap or in StyleEdit or <diaeresis> but not with <grave> nor <circumflex>.

Tested with hrev38062 (Alpha2 works well).

NB : it doesn't append in Pe but the <Acute> key does not behave as a dead-key.

may be... but how do you explain acute and grave behave differently ?

This bug does not append anymore since (about) 1 month.

Please close. (tested in hrev40188)
