ActivityMonitor on real hardware beyond the limits of the bug
comment:2 by , 14 years ago
I see similar behavior on VMWare, Mac OS X 10.6.4 host with Haiku rev 38259 (gcc2h) when more then six graphs are added when the VM is set to use 1 core.
I was able to easily add 12 graphs when I set the VM to use 2 cores.
I have a backtrace, see attached screenshot (backtrace.png).
I added an info threads screenshot (infothreads.png).

I tried to replicate this per the discussion in #haiku on IRC on real hardware. I've uploaded an image showing *all* graphs enabled and ActivityMonitor still chugging along happily. My hardware is a stock Eee 1000 with the exception of the Atheros wifi card I added in place of the RaLink.
Edit: I misunderstood the bug. Tried File -> Add Graph and at 8 graphs it locked up.
