Ok, Its to the fact I have a dual core AMD system. I enabled SMP on Safe Mode Options, and boots finely.

Care to explain why you set it to ACPI?

SMP is enabled and working without changing settings btw. What options did you select to get it booting?

Also try on screen debugging to see in the text, what the last lines in the log is when it freezes.

Ok. Would section would I put this ticket under? I selected only enable SMP.

You shouldn't touch them unless you are sure what component it belongs to. There is no option 'enable smp', there is a 'disable smp', it is hard to understand you if you don't use the correct terms.

To have a chance to fix this you will need to provide info about hardware and see if you can enter KDL or provide on screen debug information. See http://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/ReportingBugs it will help you and the devs that want to fix this a lot of time in the end.

Belnasoft: if you are still having this issue please retest with a recent nightly build and capture a syslog.

comment:7 by Belnasoft, 13 years ago

Okay I've recently retried the problem with the latest nightly build, and still no luck.
