KDL: 'device recalibrate error' at end of startup

Description
hrev38882 boots and shows the desktop, deskbar, icons, but within a few seconds after that goes into KDL. I've worked a long time with this rev. and the only other thing I noticed is that it happened on the first boot after I did a drag/drop of multiple icons to another position on the Desktop (this may be totally unrelated).

Thanks, you're right. Spinrite just located a defective region :( The ticket can be closed.

I'd say we need a nice way to warn the user in cases of unreadable CD's. And definitely not a KDL :)
"There was an error trying to read the disc MyCD, this might be due to a scratched disc."
or whatever better formulated.
At a glance it looks like you might possibly have a disk going bad, but will leave that to someone with a bit more knowledge to evaluate.
