Description
This is hrev40513.
Put an ActivityMonitor replicant onto the Desktop and show a graph.
Now keep the left mousebutton pressed on the Desktop. See the graph's redrawing stop until the context menu appears after a short time. Click-and-drag to create a selection-frame to halt redrawing indefinitely.
Doesn't feel right.

I was just about to make a ticket about this. I've noticed that when you move windows around with a replicant on the desktop like activity monitor, that the replicant will flicker.

That's actually an entirely separate issue from the one in this ticket, though I believe a ticket already exists for it.

I can find no such ticket. Do you want to create one, ringmaster?
I only see the flickering with the ActivityMonitor replicant; Workspaces, Clock and OverlayImage don't. Maybe it's related to ActivityMonitor's general flickery drawing (which annoys me no end). Or it's some alpha blending issue...?

Ouch, it's about Desktop replicants, sorry. I've confused it with #5583.
Welcome to Tracker's great synchronous mouse click handling!
