Description
It could be very interesting (and so could attract even more users) to have an "audiophile mode" for MediaPlayer, as cPlay does:

A bit old but - nowdays more than before - "audiophile mode" playing is mutch followed...

This is not what I expect from the default media player in the OS. A good 3rd party opportunity, maybe.
What it requires:
- reconfiguring the soundcard to use the same bitrate as the file that's played
- no volume setting in the application (use your amplifier volume knob)
- locking anything else to play sound, probably by bypassing the mixer node in media kit
This is invasive.
In other words, using a multitasking computer for this is not appropriate.

Maybe but "bitperfect" reproduction is now implemented in Windows too (WASAPI).
