Can't select device atapi 0-0 — at Version 1

This happens when trying to boot from a CD(nightly,haiku-nightly-hrev40774-x86gcc2hybrid-cd). It starts saying:
ata 0 error: RecoverLostInterrupt: device busy, status 0xd0 ata 0 error: device selection failed atapi 0-0 error: failed to send packet request atapi 0-0 error: device 0 not selected!
and it can't load various kernel addons like googlefs, iso9660 and nfs. everyone gets a device timeout error.
