EDID screen detection are messed-up with a dual head display
If I boot my DELL Latitude E6500 laptop with a 1440*900 built-in display with a 1280*1024 monitor connected to the external display port, the built-in display resolution is set with the external screen capabilities. the bottom of screen is truncated (124 lines high) and there is a black area on the right (160 columns width) (NB: the external screen is black).
Every things work fine when I do not connect an external screen.

By external display port do you mean a "Display Port connector", VGA, or DVI?
