Description
mail_daemon seems to always use port 143 for IMAP. When explicitly specifying the port (mail.domain.ext:993) in the mail preferences, the port is discarded, and 143 is used.

You probably have a build without ssl enabled? If you choose a ssl connection, port 993 will be used automatically. Is there any server out there using different ports than 143(no ssl) and 993 (ssl)? Try the last nighties it should be in there. There is no support for specifying the port like mail.domain.ext:993.
