Description
Must start HAIKU using fail safe video mode (VESA driver) Using HP Compaq 6000 EeS computer with videocard is the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 (Q45) (This brings only black screen therefor the fail-safe video mode)
Just dragging any replicant to the desktop, as soon as you release the mousebutton the outline disappears and no replicant is added.
(Creating replicants works just fine in R1A3 within virtualbox on macOSX, so probably related to the fail-safe mode)

Are you booting in safe mode, or are you just choosing a fail-safe video mode? If you do the former, Tracker does not load backgrounds or replicants.

I tried this once again but this time I chose not to use Safe Mode only fail-safe video. This time I was able to create replicant(s). So definitely Safe Mode that doesn't allow this. Bug can be closed, for this is likely the wanted effect.

Fail-safe mode has no influence whatsoever on replicant functionality.
