Description
Deskbar doesn't retain its new position when moved. The deskbar position resets to default the top corner on reboot of Haiku.
Haiku R1/Alpha3 (hrev42211) in VMware.

Deskbar writes its settings to disk on shutdown including its current position so no disk space might indeed be the culprit here. Try changing Deskbar's position and then run the following command from Terminal:
hey Deskbar QUIT && Deskbar
This will restart Deskbar, saving its settings to disk without rebooting so you can more easily test if Deskbar will remember its position. Deskbar may also spit out some useful information to Terminal.

Probably fixed.
After adjusting some (unrelated?) diskmount settings, I can't seem to replicate the issue any longer.
