Description
As mentioned by Oliver, it would be nice if the legacy BeOS package installer could be configured to use a different root folder for installation. This could help making legacy package installing compatible with the new package management system.

Fixed in trunk. PackageInstaller now rewrites paths on the fly to install into "non-packaged". The few remaining issues with this are handled in their own tickets.
