    1 Sorry - don't have that large USB stick at hand to try that now. I did DL a nightly RAW and are trying to write that to my HDD, in place of my my current broken Haiku A2. Should I be using "bs=1m" when writing raw to HDD?

Should I be using "bs=1m" when writing raw to HDD? Also, my current Haiku partition is 4GB. What will happen if I dd the 500MB image in to that partition?
