Description

In the Samsung RV509 laptop the video is only available in 4:3 VESA mode.

The VGA included is a NVIDIA GeForce 315M (device ID: 0A7A).

I have attached my syslog to the ticket. I hope it will help.

I use the alpha-4 xxx600 image.

Using R1 Alpha 4.1 I can set HD-Ready resolution for the display, but it is only VESA.

Still problem in 45432 nightly. Ahh... +1: the using VESA driver the display is partially blur.

Hi,

This chip is introduced in 2010, see ​https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#GeForce_300M_.283xxM.29_Series

It's a G80 or later chip and will not be supported by the current nVidia driver (support for all cards upto/excluding G80).
