Description
Nvidia Geforce 6200 Go (NV44) external display has problem. I connected a sony projector, it didn't display 800x600 correctly. Had a big blank display towards the left side. I tried with a viewsonic 1080p monitor, it displaying blank. It is a vaio vgn-FS215Z laptop. The main screen working fine.

The syslog is taken while connecting the external display after booting. If I boot the pc with connecting the external display, the splash screen display in both the moniters the suddenly both moniters are blank.

Hi, could you enable driver logging for the accelerant by using the Nvidia.settings file for full logging, and do a reboot with the screen already connected? The resulting logfile should give all info needed.

For Geforce 6000-6200, notably Nforce 4 and 4xx, but possibly more cards, added detection of a 25Mhz GPU base frequency crystal. This fixes too low refreshrates, wobbly screens, no picture at all, only part of a picture and that kind of trouble.
In retrospect, it might very well be that the secondary monitor therefore now works correctly. (the internal panel's refresh is not touched by default in the driver)
Fixed in hrev55039.
listdev and syslog would probably be helpful again here
