Description
Wi-fi allocating wrong address and subnetmask from DHCP server. It is working fine with static ip. But need to connect manualy everytime. I am using sony vaio VGN-BZ12EN. Using standard sky router in UK by Netgear.

Guessing this is a driver-related issue, as Wifi DHCP has worked for me on Atheros and other chips (unless it broke recently?).
Changing to the driver in question, per the syslog output.

I had this problem a while ago on a Dell Latitude E6410. I haven't tried on this hardware in a few months since sound and multi-core cpuidle weren't working.
