initial v1 1 Scrolling inside a folder is much slower, if filenames are trun kated.1 Scrolling inside a folder is much slower, if filenames are truncated. 2 2 For example start ProcessController and open /boot/beos/bin/. 3 3 Scroll several times with your mouse wheel to see how much cpu is used for such simple operation (already much higher than in R5) 4 Decr ase "Name" column width so filenames get trunkated with "..." in the end.4 Decrease "Name" column width so filenames get truncated with "..." in the end. 5 5 Now try to scroll with your mouse wheel, you should see 100% cpu usage.
