Description

Haiku was booting at one point on my HDD-less X41. Lately however no matter whether I use a USB stick or an external USB cardreader with an SD card, on hrev45413 gcc4hybrid, all the icons light up on the boot screen and then I get this (attached)

What will likely help with this one is a syslog from a successful boot (so Yongcong can review the CPU features and what-not that is spit out).

To accomplish this, you can probably just temporarily delete/rename the cpuidle driver that is causing trouble at <disk>/system/add-ons/kernel/drivers/power/x86_cpuidle and try booting again.

Then attach the resulting syslog here.

Oops, that perhaps should have been <disk>/system/add-ons/kernel/generic/cpuidle - you might have to experiment.

That's the thing though, I don't seem to be able to get it to boot anymore, even with fresh media.

I'll try renaming that file though, thanks

hrev45288 and older did not include the new cpuidle driver

That did it! Yay! Posting this from said laptop. I was mistaken btw, it was hrev45407, possibly gcc2? Anyway I will attach the syslog now.
