+At the opening, `waddlesplash` noted that he propsed a [wiki:R1/Beta2/Timeline Timeline] for beta 2.

+To do:
+ * Make the changes to the struct size [`waddlesplash`]
+ * Update the wpa_supplicant and its recipe [`waddlesplash`]
+ * Update the buildbots [`mmlr`]
+ * Add the newly built packages to the image [`waddlesplash`]
+
+It was decided to do this now rather than later.
+(Note 14-04-2020: after some difficulties, the build bots have been rebuilt and the packages are now available)

+There has been work on a [https://review.haiku-os.org/c/haiku/+/2275 change] by X512. After some discussion, the outcome was:
+ * We would like to have it fixed
+ * There are two good solutions here (patchset 4 and patchset 5).
+ * The preference is patchset 4.
+ * There was some discussion about the naming of the flag, but that name can be changed later.
+ * `pulkomandy`/`waddlesplash` will merge patchset 4.

+It was decided that this should be in beta 3, because the upgrade will break if this is introduced in beta 2.

+Note that this does close off the future upgrade route from beta 1 directly to beta 3 and higher.

+It was decided that this patch could be submitted after another test.

+ * There were no disagreements with the timeline
+ * `waddlesplash` offers to be the Release Coordinator, `nielx` will back him up.
+ * There is one [https://review.haiku-os.org/c/haiku/+/2376 outstanding change] that was under review, that we would like to get in. `axeld` will be prodded, if he is unavailable, `pulkomandy` will review with a notepad and a pen to do the math.
+ * `apl` is now the official Component owner for HaikuDepot
