Description
I am running haiku-nightly-hrev46164-x86gcc2hybrid-anyboot from a USB flash drive on an Asus Zenbook UX31A. Under Windows, its touchpad is reported as an "ELAN PS/2 Port Smart-Pad".
Immediately after boot, when moving the pointer with the touchpad, the following things happen:
- The pointer suddenly jumps to the bottom-right of the screen sometimes. It seems this happens when I try to click (left and right). Sometimes the clicks succeed, though.
- After a minute or so, the pointer disappears and the touchpad stops working (i.e. even if I try to "blindly" move into the top-right corner to click the Deskbar, nothing happens). The keyboard is still working.
- Now when I connect a USB mouse and move it, the pointer appears again, in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
After step 3, I can make the pointer disappear just by touching the touchpad (behavior as in step 2), and then make it appear again by moving the USB mouse (as in step 3). I can repeat this predictably now.

In fact, it seems buggy with more than one finger. I'll deactivate this code until it's more usable.

Thanks, korli! It's working fine now, except the two-finger scrolling, as expected.
